The Gruppo IspAC (Gruppo Ispettori Anticorrosione) was founded in 1997 by highly qualified people in the field of anticorrosive protection, with the aim of making operational a technical reality able to assist and support the Italian and foreign clients in solving technical problems that are commonly encountered in the field of Anticorrosive Protection of Steel and Concrete by using liquid paints.

In 2009, the Gruppo IspAC has been acknowledged and appointed by FROSIO, an internationally recognized Norwegian body, in order to organize exclusive examinations for Qualification and Certification of FROSIO Coating Inspectors for the Italian country.
